1st Halloween........

Hey Nick!!

So how are you today? We are plugging thru. It's been a crazy weekend. Left Saturday for Tampa got there about 11:00 am. Hung with the Bouton's. Audrey came to Logan's game that afternoon and went and hung out til we crashed. 😄 Matt made pancakes and sausage for breakfast. Logan lived it. Than we were off to the fame and home by 5:15. It was a fast trip but fun. Logan got to fish with Noah one last time in Tampa. 😊 Score report the slaughtered both teams pretty bad. Logan had an assist in Saturday's game and a goal in Sunday's game. 😄⚽️

This past week not to much to report. Logan and Kenzie keep me running between soccer and dance.

Tyler comes home Wednesday-Sunday with his class. They are working the Notre Dame and Navy game this weekend. We have 2 of his classmates staying with us. 🏈

So we were all wondering did you guys have a ward festival or a trunk or treat and did you dress up?

So how is it going in the mission field? 

Can you tell me the 1st name of the psychologist? Do you feel he is good? Sorry just the mom in me needs to know. Have you by chance asked or can you ask how long you may need to take the prozac? Do you feel it's working? Sorry it's hard when I can't just text or call you. 

I think I have all your Christmas. The next box you get will be a little tree and decorations. I hope to get that out next week. 🎄

Ok so can you video your living area? Audrey and I are trying to figure it out. Do you have to put your mattresses up against the wall to have floor space? We need a visual😜

Oh I forgot to tell you Ethan Hand is going to Billings Montana where Dillion is serving. I thought that was funny😜 

Not sure if you hear from Brandon or not but he seems to be good. I think he reports in a week to the mission field.

We are so glad to be home but we have grown to love the Bouton's 10x's more. They are an awesome family so thankful that we all have them in our lives.

Just know we are fine!! I'm a little worried about you and the anxiety but it sounds like you are taking the steps to work on it. Trust me dad is always on my mind. The one thing I have learned Nick you have to talk to have to let him know how and what you are feeling.

I'm sorry to hear about Snickers that is really hard but she has had a very long and nice life. I will be praying for comfort upon our family. I love you guys! I'm so glad to hear you guys were safe I was freaking out about it on Thursday morning when I heard about it. I heard it was a category 4 and I heard about what Rick Scott said but I am so thankful that you guys were safe. The baptism on Friday was Mollie's she is dating one of the members in our ward named Levi and she has been investigating for a few months. Elder and sister Newcum were the ones who taught her. The situation is weird though because the Newcums are in the murphys ward and Mollie was baptized and is a member of our ward so it's just a weird situation. However, she is super cool and really nice. Her boyfriend Levi is apart of the Emerson family which basically makes up the San Andreas Ward. At Mollie's baptism we ended up overfilling the font so that was pretty fun it overflowed into the hallway and after the baptism we had to clean it up. It's funny cause Elder Wood has done that twice haha. Sister Palmer was the one who called you on Friday to check on you guys. The Palmers come to every baptism or at least they try and they almost always succeed. 

My week was pretty good it was the last week of the transfer so that means transfer calls! So Elder Wood goes home on Wednesday back to Salt Lake City and my new companion is gonna be Elder Newsome! I have met him a couple times and he seems super nice. He will officially be my companion as of tomorrow around noon. It's definitely gonna stink when Elder Wood goes home and i'm gonna miss him a lot but Him and I are planning on staying in contact. As for the big things that happen this week we had a super cool experience with Judy! So here it is

This week went pretty well overall, we were able to see one of our investigators Judy and we were going to talk about the word of wisdom. We understood that when we first started meeting with her she liked to drink a glass of wine every day right before bed. That was roughly about a month ago. So we did our best to prepare in our studies on how to help her to quit. As we talked to her in this lesson about the word of wisdom she exclaimed to us that she has been living the word of wisdom for about 2 weeks!!! It was so amazing and the spirit was truly there. It's amazing how prepared she is. I love this work and this gospel!

It is truly amazing how god works and how he prepares people. I love this so much and I hope all is well back home!! 

I also had an interview with president yesterday and we set up a time for me to meet with Dr. Brinks who is apart of the stake presidency and he is also a psychologist I have been struggling a little bit with anxiety and i've been thinking a lot about dad and so dr. Brinks is going to help me with all those situations.

So my story time for this week is super funny!

So this week we went with our Ward mission Leader Brother Zahniser out to his hunting cabin so he could show us around it and also to make us breakfast and just have a good bonding experience. So his cabin is owned by a guy named Rhett who lives in a trailer on the property right next to the cabin with his son. So Rhetts son manages a weed farm and so we were like 50 feet from a pot farm which was cool... not lol. They were super nice though. So we were with brother Zahniser at this cabin on a pot farm and brother Zahniser had his gun with him just cause. So it's hunting season and we were looking at the window and Elder Wood spotted a deer. So he told brother Zahniser and so brother Zahniser was like lets go see if it's a buck! So we drive out close enough to see if the deer was a buck or a doe. it turned out to be a buck and suddenly brother Zahniser grabbed his gun and popped it on the hood of his truck and shot the deer lol. So we accidentally went hunting this week lol. Brother Zahniser ended up killing the deer and then he had us drag it through some star thistles (not fun to walk through with shorts on) And then throw it in the truck. So that was the story/highlight of the week lol1

Monday, 9-26-2016

This week has been fun and interesting. So we had a meeting Tuesday and then we had a lesson that was going well until the member we brought started talking about pot farms and if he was in another life he may smoke pot. To make it even worse the guy we were teaching his name is Dakota and his dad is a less active member. But his dad has been struggling with pot for a while now and he was doing super well until after that lesson. So that was fun... Then, I broke my toe Saturday and it's all swollen as well as burning my hand pretty bad but overall it's going super well and i had a super fun time at Big trees today!! The pics will come in a few. 

It's a new car.......Sept 19th

Yeah we work with the Newcums a lot we are actually supposed to be 25% active in their ward and 75% active in San Andreas. They are truly an awesome couple!! I'm glad you liked the photos! We did get a new car and it is super nice! It's a 2016 Nissan Rogue I will send pics later. It sounds like you guys have had a good week overall and i'm so happy to hear that! I have been doing pretty well just struggling with some anxiety but i'm in the process of fixing it. So hopefully I will be able to get past that. We were able to have a couple good lessons this week but overall it was slow. That's just how it is in the hills but i miss all of you so much!! I got kenzies letter and hopefully I will be able to reply tonight and send it out tomorrow. I hope all is well!! I love and miss you guys so much!!

I'm glad you made it through the week. and it sounds like you had fun. I'm sorry to hear that the procedure didn't work but hopefully Dr. Kaplan will be able to fix it. I have been doing pretty good. We have a lady named judy who is super close to actually being baptized and one of our other investigators scottie (he's the homeless one) He has been struggling with the word of wisdom. So we are trying to help him to understand because he sees the world in his way and I don't know if he will change but we are doing our best. We have a lot of potential here and i'm so excited for what is to come. I will make sure to keep all of you updated. Some big news for this week is the fact that we are getting a new car!!! We are switching out the truck we have and getting a 2016 Nissan Rogue. We are getting it on wednesday and it is super exciting! Besides that we are going to a wedding on friday and Elder Wood is gonna be the 2nd best man which is pretty cool. Let me know when you guys see Audrey next! Her and I were wondering if you would be okay with letting her stay with you guys when she goes to Georgia. Keep me updated on everything!
